We went to ....
In the middle of the week, Mr. B. texted me asking me if I would like to go see BYU play UNLV. I jokingly replied "Yes!" Well, Mr. B. wasn't joking.
Something about us, we NEVER go on last-minute trips. Or very many trips period.
Anyway, we left Friday after Mr. B.'s last class. We arrived at our hotel, Circus Circus, around 10:30. The Queen, who had been sleeping, woke up and was very ready to play. So were we. After checking in, we decided to take a walk down the strip. It was fun, until we came to the area with all the bars. Oh my goodness. We decided we would stick to daytime wondering.
So, the next morning we woke, ate breakfast, checked out of our hotel, and set off exploring. We decided to check out the circus in our hotel. It was so fun! Mr. B. even won the Queen a lovely prize.
He also took her on a cool motorcycle ride.
After watching a few awesome circus acts, we went to the strip.
We got to see the wonderful Bellagio fountains.
After a rather long walk, we went back to our car. I might say that the Queen brought many, many smiles from the people along the strip. Her cute walk entertained everyone: old, young, and all different races. We love her!
The time came for us to make our way to the stadium. Let me tell you, BYU needs to take notes about this stadium! The bleachers have backs. Loved it.
Thinking we would be a small minority, we were quite surprised to see TONS of BYU fans! We made quite a showing! I think the crowd was half UNLV half BYU. It was wonderful!
We were so glad we went to this game. If you saw the score (59-21), you would understand!
Toward the end of the game, we suddenly got lots of texts telling us that Mr. B. had been on TV! Cool, eh?
After the game, we decided to drive home. Yes, home. We got in around 7:30 am. We were exhausted, to say the least. I was also swollen from all the sitting and walking. Painful.
After a long nap (thank goodness for 1 pm church!), we got ready for church. We came home and took another long nap. The Queen was just as tired as we were.
That night, while Mr. B. was cleaning the kitchen, the Queen delighted us with stealing and eating a WHOLE peach.
Needless to say, we had a fantastic weekend!!
P.S. What happened to the Queen's stuffed animal? Well, it was lost somewhere in Las Vegas. Sad, huh?

Benjammin i wish i would have seen you on the tv but i couldn't watch it because we don't have that channel but i wanted to see a good looking guy shown on the tv and i missed it!!! WHAT THE HECK warn me next time your going to be on tv thanks.
