Emily had two celebrations. The first was very small (and happened to follow a very stressful day) and was actually on her birthday. We had her favorite food--pizza--and Ben made a special cake for her (ice cream between two donut pieces).
Then we had her actual birthday party. Her friends came over and had a little picnic of sandwiches. We then played "blue's clues" with three clues leading the kids to Emily's favorite type of cake: an ice cream cake!

Everyone enjoyed it.
Then we opened presents. I had pictures of the gifts and they somehow disappeared off my computer. I don't know how else to say that. I do know she had some awesome gifts!
