On Costumes and Turkey

For Halloween this year, we went with our neighbors down the street to the college dorms for trick-or-treating.  It was a great idea.  The students thought our kids' costumes were adorable and they filled their cauldrons with some amazing chocolate.  Win, win.

Emily decided to be (wait for it) a princess.  Big surprise, I know.  As is typical, she agreed to pose so I could snap some photos.

Andrew, on the other hand, fought through every picture I attempted to take.

Finally, I caught him by surprise.

If you can't tell, he decided to go as Mickey Mouse.  Too freakin' cute.

As for Thanksgiving, we decided to visit Kentucky.  Ben's best friend from high school lives there with his wife and daughter, so we spent the weekend with them and their family.  It was incredibly fun!

Since we drove back last night, we have had all day to clean, unpack, and get ready for Monday.  Naturally, we did all this.

Not.

After I finish cleaning and stuff, I will add photos of our Thanksgiving trip.  And since we all know how great I am at keeping up....

Have a happy Monday.
