The toolbox Andrew received for Christmas does not carry tools, it carries his firetrucks. Everyday, for the past week, he has carried that toolbox everywhere: to bed, to preschool, and to the store. His accompanying outfit includes his firetruck hat, whatever clothes I've convinced him to wear (that must be firefighter worthy), and his snow boots. He is stylish.
When we are home, he carries his firetruck toolbox to the door and tells us, "Bye! See ya! I go [with] fiertuck [firetruck] and wader [water]! Wuv u [Love you]!"
With the weather being below freezing, his forays into the outside working world don't last long. But he knows that his firefighting skills can be used both outside and inside; thus, he is not deterred from working to save all the boys, girls, women, and men in the world.
We have a new superhero in our midst and he is ready to fight fires. Always ready.
