So, we moved like 2 weeks ago. Our new place is smaller and in an apartment complex - a first for us - but it has beautiful wood floors, a sky light, and other cool things. The plan is to live here for a year, so we can save a bit (because our rent is CHEAP) then move to a bigger place. No dishwasher, washer and dryer, and living on the third floor is difficult, but we can make it through a year. For sure. (Right?)
Anyway.
Pictures of the kids. From my phone. (It's so much easier to take them on my phone and, funny enough, my phone takes higher quality pictures than our camera - that's technology for you!)
These are from Kirksville, right before we moved.

Sweet Andrew, sucking his finger. His favorite past time.

Emily jumping on the bed. She got some air!

Andrew, not wanting to smile for the camera.
Back in Kirksville, we had some woods right next to our house. We would often accompany our neighbors and their daughter for hikes through them, so Andrew and Emily became enthusiastic about exploring. One morning, while we were playing outside, the kids decided to do some hiking on their own. They went amazingly far! Soon, though, they came back to us.
These last two are of Andrew and Ben. Just because.
We are (finally) all moved into our place. Ben loves his job, I'm making it through my classes, and the kids are meeting other kids in the neighborhood. We play outside often, read books, and other activities. Pretty much, we are having fun in our new city.
